At Grit & Grace Ranch we believe that to be a good rider, you must have a solid foundation in the basics. Not only the basics in the saddle, but the basics of creating a relationship with your horse, caring for your horse, and handling your horse safely on the ground.
Horses are herd animals. To have a successful relationship with a horse you must establish yourself as a herd leader worth following. Our program will set you up to be the calm and confident leader your horse needs.
Whether you own your own horse, have aspirations of owning your own horse, or want to use horsemanship lessons as a personal development tool, there’s a place for you at Grit & Grace Ranch.
Our program is geared toward the novice rider who would like to learn holistic horsemanship from the ground up, as well as the experienced rider who would like to revisit and perfect the foundational basics.
At Grit & Grace Ranch you'll learn solid horsemanship basics that will take you far into whatever discipline you may want to learn. From barrels to jumping, reining to trail riding, the foundational riding skills are all the same.
We accept adult and child riders. Children must be at least 5-years-old to be enrolled in the program.
