Rachel considers herself a lifelong student of yoga and is eager to share all the benefits the practice has to offer with you!
Rachel has experienced profound healing and strengthening within her own yoga practice as a person who has recovered from numerous life-threatening physical injuries-at one point even being told she would never be able to enjoy regular activities, like walking, hiking, and long-distance traveling. She was not willing to accept these answers and decided to reconnect with her daily yoga practice which led her to become a yoga teacher.
She facilitates trauma-informed spaces where yogis of all levels are welcome. When not on the mat you can find Rachel out in nature; hiking, biking, and traveling to the mountains of Colorado or the PNW where her extended family lives. She loves gardening and spending time with her family as a wife, proud momma to 3 boys, as well as 2 adopted doggos and 2 cats.
This event is open to beginners and yogis who are seeking a unique experience for their practice! Rachel will guide us all through a soul-soothing evening filled with all the ranch atmosphere has to offer us.
Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle. We have a public bathroom as well a private bedroom to change your clothes in if you are coming straight from work.
If you want to get up close and personal with the horses before the session begins, please arrive at 6:45 pm. If not, then arrive 5 minutes before the session begins as Rachel will start right at 7:00 pm to be respectful of everyone's time.
